BAKAYEV COULD LEAVE FOR ZENIT IN THE SUMMER FOR FREE
Spartak Moscow midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev could move to Zenit St Petersburg, according to a source from the RB-Sport agency. According to the source, Bakayev has failed to agree a contract extension with Spartak, which ends this summer. The player is ready to sign for Zenit as early as July.
Bakaev has scored three goals and given seven assists in 35 meetings during the current RPL season. Transfermarkt values Bakayev at 5 million euros. The last player to move from Spartak to Zenit was Artem Dzyuba.
Bakayev’s representative German Tkachenko said that at the moment there is no agreement with the Bilo-Syni. He said that the issue of Bakayev’s contract depends on Spartak’s future budget and the RPL format.
